Clumping Bamboos

Clumping bamboos grow in a very predictable way and are much easier to contain than running varieties.  Their rhizomes (underground root systems) grow in a U-shape, spreading just inches from the base clump each year, but also providing wide lateral coverage with its closely compacted canes.  Smaller in stature than running bamboo, Clumpers are an ideal choice for an easy to maintain dense grove.
